CHRISTMAS BREAK BACK STORY
The first snow of December had covered the little village in a blanket of white. Every rooftop sparkled beneath the morning sun,
and the church bell echoed softly across the quiet streets. Children bundled in colorful scarves hurried through the snow,
laughing as they pulled sleds and built tiny snowmen. Parents carried baskets filled with homemade cookies, warm bread, and
gifts wrapped with bright red ribbons.
At the center of the village stood the Christmas tree. Every family had placed one special ornament on its branches. Some
ornaments were new, while others had been passed down through generations, each holding a story of love and hope.
As evening arrived, lanterns glowed along the snowy road, leading everyone toward the village square. Friends greeted one
another with warm hugs, neighbours shared hot cider, and Christmas carols filled the crisp winter air.
An elderly woman named Eleanor smiled as she watched the children playing. "The greatest gift of Christmas," she whispered,
"is not the presents beneath the tree, but the people who gather around it."
Just then, a tiny robin landed on one of the tree's branches. The children believed it was bringing Christmas blessings to
everyone in the village. They made a wish, closed their eyes, and listened as the church bells rang once more.
That night, as snowflakes continued to fall, every window glowed with candlelight. The village felt peaceful, joyful, and full of love.
And everyone went home with the same feeling in their hearts—
that Christmas was never about what you received, but about the kindness you shared and
the memories you created together.
